Title: Project Manager
Location: Nigeria
Description:
The Project Manager in our Africa team is responsible for the coordination, management and monitoring of project activities externally, with our customers, partners and local integrators, and internally with other managers and the professional services team. The Project Manager also supports a range of HQ services such as: radio planning, field and trail activities and resolution of various technical issues.
Requirements:
- At least 3 years experience in the following:
- On-site management of large telecommunication turnkey projects
- Management of subcontractors in Africa
- Acting as a focal point for many on-site activities done in parallel
- Excellent knowledge of wireless communication systems (advantageous)
- Good knowledge of Radio (antennas, modulation, etc.) and transmission systems (advantageous)
- Experience working with IP networking protocols such as Ethernet, TCP/IP, VoIP, networking (advantageous)
- Experience in installation and commissioning, ATP and resolving challenges in these areas (advantageous)
- Service and customer-oriented
- Fluent in English
- Well organized with a methodological approach to tasks
- Good team player while remaining assertive
- Excellent communication skills
Education:
BA in Electronic Engineering or a similar field
