Integration Engineer/ Junior Engineer - Romania

Location: Bucharest, Romania
Description
Technical engineer required for Alvarion's Romania R&D center to identify software and hardware implementation issues; design and implement acceptance tests and procedures for third-party equipment; lead beta trials with new products; provide top level support to field and technical engineers; train customer service personnel and more.
Requirements (for Junior Engineer position)
• Fresh graduate of Computer Science/ Electronics & Telecommunications/ Cybernetics/
Mathematics/ Informatics
• Must be dynamic, initiative taker with great problem solving and delivery skills
• Fluent English
Requirements (for Integration Engineer position)
• Extensive knowledge in IP networking, network management platforms, LAN/ WAN,
IP with sub-protocols
• Familiarity with basic concepts and working experience in communications, radio systems,
basic radio planning, knowledge of CISCO configuration
• Experience with measurement equipment for computers and radio systems
• Scripting skills (TCL, Python, AO)
• Troubleshooting of complex data transmission systems, ability to read and comprehend
technical standards
• Must be dynamic, initiative taker with great problem solving and delivery skills
• Ability to design and implement acceptance test procedures for client/ server network
systems, ability to share, transfer and demonstrate knowledge to the team – an advantage
• Fluent English
Education
Bachelor's degree in computer sciences/ electronics & telecommunications/ cybernetics, mathematics/ informatics
