Alvarion Responds to Article



Alvarion Ltd. disclosed today that it has come to its attention that an article recently appeared in the Israeli press attributing to one of its senior officers a forecast of the Company's revenues for the four quarters of 2002 and other matters. The Company stated that no such forecast was in fact made and reiterated that it is its long-standing policy not to make such forecasts.
