BreezeCOM Ltd. Revises First Quarter 2001 Estimates

TEL AVIV, Israel & CARLSBAD, Calif.--March 15, 2001--BreezeCOM (NASDAQ: BRZE), a leader in the design and manufacture of high-speed wireless access solutions, today revised its estimates for first quarter 2001 revenues and earnings and provided updated guidance for 2001 full year financial expectations.

The Company said that it currently expects to report revenues for the first quarter of 2001 of $23-26 million, an increase of 47% - 67% over revenues for the first quarter of 2000 of $15.6 million. The Company also said it expects to break even for the first quarter of 2001, compared to a loss per share for the first quarter of 2000 of $(0.01). Additionally, the Company is now forecasting sales for the full year 2001 of $120 million and earnings per share of $0.15-0.20.

Zvi Slonimsky, President and CEO of BreezeCOM, said, "During the past year, we have witnessed exceptional growth with solid quarter-to-quarter results. The current economic slowdown in the United States has temporarily impacted this growth. Our sales in countries other than the United States continue to be strong and we are positioned as a global leader in the sub-11GHz broadband wireless access market. We have made successful inroads into Europe, Latin America and Asia-Pacific and we believe we are well-positioned for further growth in these markets."

Mr. Slonimsky continued, "We believe that as market conditions settle down, the demand for our products will continue to grow at levels consistent with our strategic plan. BreezeCom currently has over $150 million in cash (over $5 per share), no long-term debt on its balance sheet and expects to be profitable for the year. This strong financial position will enable us to be opportunistic during the current dislocations in the marketplace and to further improve our competitive position."

Mr. Slonimsky will discuss these matters in a conference call scheduled for Thursday, March 15, 2001, at 11:00 a.m. EST. Those who wish to participate may dial (800) 370-0906 (Domestic), (973) 633-1010 (International), approximately five minutes before the call.
