ISO 14001 Standard Now Approved for InnoWave ECI Wireless Systems Ltd.

PETAH TIKVA, ISRAEL, March 1, 2001 - ECI Telecom Ltd.'s (NASDAQ/NM symbol: ECIL) fully owned subsidiary, InnoWave ECI Wireless Systems Ltd., ("InnoWave"), a global leader in Wireless Local Loop (WLL) solutions, has been accredited and certified for the ISO 14001 Standard - EMS (Environmental Management System) by the Standards Institution of Israel. This standard is part of the overall management system that includes organizational structure, planning activities, responsibilities, practices, procedures, processes and resources for developing, implementing, achieving, reviewing and maintaining the Environmental Policy.

InnoWave's EMS Policy establishes the commitment of working cooperatively and openly; upholding community environmental expectations and strengthening the responsibility of improving the efficiency of existing resources. Furthermore, it constitutes the framework for setting and reviewing environmental objectives and targets with the intent of preventing pollution, protecting the environment, and continually improving environmental performance for present and future generations.

The Environmental Policy became effective as of the end of October 2000. The company devised a workplan for utilizing ISO 14001, which prepared the workers with proper training, and introduced the relevant documentation to them.
