BreezeCOM and Tele2 AB Expand European Broadband Wireless Access Infrastructure

Low-Cost Rapid Deployment Drives Expanded European Coverage

TEL AVIV, Israel & CARLSBAD, Calif., Feb 27, 2001 -- BreezeCOM (NASDAQ:BRZE), a leader in the design and manufacture of high-speed wireless access solutions, announced today it has signed a two year supply agreement with Tele2 AB (NASDAQ: TLTO), formerly NetCom AB, a leading supplier of alternative pan-European telecommunication solutions.

The agreement follows BreezeCOM's win of the Tele2 AB tender held in mid 2000 among top broadband wireless access players.

Tele2 AB is set to purchase BreezeCOM's BreezeACCESS(TM) XL broadband wireless access systems designed for the 3.5GHz and 3.8 GHz bands. BreezeACCESS has already been commercially deployed by Tele2 in the UK, Czech, Poland and Norway, with numerous trial deployments underway with Tele2 AB throughout Europe.

"We chose BreezeCOM for its field-proven mature technology and the ease and speed of BreezeACCESS deployment," said Johnny Svedberg, Executive Vice President of Tele2 AB. "We were extremely impressed with the success of the products in our initial deployment in Europe."

BreezeACCESS is BreezeCOM's leading edge broadband wireless access (BWA) product enabling Carriers and Service Providers to offer high-speed data and toll-quality telephony services. BreezeACCESS employs wireless packet data technology, optimized for Internet access.

In December 1999, BreezeCOM signed a contract with Tele2 (UK) and Millicom (Argentina) to supply the wireless equipment for a nationwide wireless data network in the United Kingdom and Argentina. In addition the scope of this agreement provided Millicom and Tele2 companies with the right to purchase BreezeCOM's BWA products directly from the company.

Under the new agreement, which covers all Tele2 AB operations in Europe, Tele2 AB is pursuing its efforts to extend this service across its European wireless broadband operations in the licensed sub-11 GHz bands.

"We are thrilled with the success that Tele2 AB is enjoying with the BreezeCOM products and the confidence this has cemented in our relationship, building on the fact that BreezeCOM holds the largest worldwide install base of BWA products," said Benny Glazer, BreezeCOM's VP Corporate Sales. "We look forward to continuing strength and success and we will be with Tele2 AB every step of the way by providing the services of our worldwide network of local support, distribution and system integration."

This European agreement comes in the wake of BreezeCOM's recent announcements of the expansion in Latin America, with Millicom Argentina SA. and Telecel S.A. from Paraguay, both subsidiaries of Millicom International Cellular Corporation (NASDAQ: MICC). The announcements heralded the success of the venture's penetration into the Latin American market.
