WinNet Metropolitan Communication Systems INC., Changes Name To InnoWave Broadband, INC.

New Company Focused on High Bandwidth Wireless Solutions for Data-Centric Networks.  
San Francisco, February 19, 2001 - Following its previously announced acquisition by Israel-based InnoWave ECI Wireless Systems, Ltd., Sunnyvale, Calif.-based WinNet Metropolitan Communications Systems, Inc. (WinNet MCS), today announced that it has changed its name to InnoWave Broadband, Inc., a California corporation and a wholly owned subsidiary of InnoWave ECI Wireless Systems, Ltd. The announcement is made coincident with the Broadband Wireless World Forum in San Francisco, February 19-21, emphasizing InnoWave Broadband's enhanced focus on wireless solutions for the high-bandwidth requirements of data-centric communications.

In a separate announcement, InnoWave Broadband also announced that it is introducing and exhibiting its OC-3/SONET radio solution, SpeedWave(tm) 155 at the Broadband Wireless World Forum, in Booth 925. This product joins the SpeedWave 100 Fast Ethernet radio and the zIPwave(tm) multiplexer (formerly marketed as WIN 100 and WIN MUX, respectively) in the InnoWave Broadband product portfolio.
